Sustainability at New Zeel begins from the source and extends across the supply chain. Our backward integration with DGT Films allows us to engineer coated and laminated fabrics that reduce waste and extend product life. We’re actively exploring the use of alternative natural fibres and recyclable inputs in our product development.
Across our manufacturing units, we follow lean processes, conserve resources and invest in machine efficiency to reduce material wastage and energy consumption. Our in-house testing labs ensure long-lasting garments that reduce consumer-level disposability. From rainwear to athleisure, each collection is made to endure, minimising both environmental impact and product fatigue.
Innovation drives every process at New Zeel, not just for efficiency, but for responsibility. With over 4,000 advanced machines, including seam sealing, heat sealing and digital printing units, our production lines are designed to ensure precision, reduce defects and support specialised apparel formats like waterproof and flame-retardant gear.
Each facility is equipped with in-house quality labs that test raw materials and finished goods for durability, water resistance, insulation and seam strength. Beyond machinery, we’ve built an integrated ecosystem that supports design-to-delivery under one roof, limiting overproduction, improving response time and enabling more responsible inventory management for our partners.
New Zeel is recognised as the largest training partner of the Government of Rajasthan in the field of apparel skill development. Over the past five years, we’ve trained 20,000+ tribal youth, primarily women, through residential training centers located in remote, underserved areas.
These centers offer more than just education. With IT labs, hostels and certified instructors, they provide practical skill-building in stitching, seam sealing and quality control, along with financial literacy and personal development. Many of our trainees transition directly into full-time roles at New Zeel’s production units, gaining not just income, but dignity and independence.
Women who once had no access to formal employment now support families, educate their children and serve as role models for the next generation. This is not a parallel initiative – it is central to how we grow.

Healthcare for the Region
People are at the heart of ZEEL Rainwear’s strategy and we are committed to their welfare, education and better health facilities for the people of the region. To fulfill the same, ZEEL Group has set up a 200-bed, state-of-the-art ZEEL Multispecialty Hospital backed with all the facilities.
In the event of any type of emergency, ZEEL Hospital has proved to be the main life-saving hospital for the entire region. Due to the prompt availability of world-class health facilities at ZEEL Hospital, the Vagad residents no longer need to run to Ahmedabad and Udaipur for any medical requirements.
Among our many achievements, we have made a record of performing 255 heart surgeries, 86 brain surgeries, 1142 general surgeries, 379 urological surgeries, 478 orthopaedic surgeries, 466 eye surgeries, 202 ENTs and 861 gynaecological operations. All emergency services are available around the clock at affordable rates. Some services are free for the unprivileged layers of society through the inclusion of government schemes.
